Hey! My name is Lisa and this is a review of the Metabolic Cooking Cookbook Recipe Set.
I originally came across this cookbook set while browsing online for healthy recipes. I had been on a restrictive diet for a month and although I experienced an initial weight loss, it had plateaued.
What I didn’t realise was that restricting my calorie intake had worked in the beginning but ultimately, it caused my metabolism to slow down.
I felt frustrated, hungry and miserable. Tired of eating the same bland and tasteless foods, I was searching for inspiration when I found Karine Losier’s cookbook recipes.
Desperate for a change, the photographs of delicious looking food was very tempting. Could I really burn fat by eating blueberry protein muffins and pork burgers? Unconvinced in the beginning, as time went on and the weight kept dropping, I couldn’t deny that this amazing plan was working.

Karine has a master’s degree in psychology so understands the struggles that people face with their diets and eating habits. Dave is a well known fitness cook who has helped many people with his recipes and nutritional approach. Between them, they decided to come up with a plan that would help people burn fat while still enjoying satisfying food.
Final Thoughts In This Metabolic Cookbook Review
First off, it’s so easy to follow! The concepts are all explained really well and once you understand the principles of metabolic cooking, they will stick with you forever.
The recipes are so easy to manage. I have never had any great skill in the kitchen but I still manage to create photo worthy meals with these cookbooks. The food itself is divine. My favourite recipe is the salsa marinated steak, which is absolutely bursting with flavour.
The huge variety of recipes and food reviews makes this plan suitable for every kind of lifestyle, from people who eat on the go to people who enjoy spending time in their kitchen. Stuck for

What Could Be Improved On
When I purchased the plan, it came in the format of over 20 e-books and there were no clear instructions on how to use the plan. There was no obvious primary e-book and no guide for which book to read first. It was a little overwhelming and took a while to figure out where to begin.
The e-books are a little hard on the eyes. The text doesn’t sit right against the green background and is a little difficult to focus on.
It was surprising to find that although the recipes were clear and contained all the necessary nutritional information, there was little explanation of how the foods impact your metabolism. Luckily, I already had some knowledge of how the metabolism works. Before I purchased the plan I did some online research about how a plan like this might work.
Overall this is a great set of cookbooks for $47! I’ve used this while on the Bikini Body Guide and it was a great combination. I lost a lot of weight using both of them.
